The InfiLINK 2 x 2 WiMax System from Case Communications is a highly diversified family of wireless Point-to-Point products which brings together a capacity up to 280 Mbps with a rich set of features while being highly cost effective. It consists of the two sub-families:

  • InfiLINK 2x2 PRO - high performance series of point to point wireless products
  • InfiLINK 2x2 LITE - cost-effective medium capacity series of point to point

All InfiLINK 2x2 products are available across a number of licensed and unlicensed frequency bands with selection of integrated antenna and connectorised models.

  • Power consumption as low as 7 W
  • The input DC range is from 9 to 56 vdc

CCTV ready products

  • The 2x2 LITE units with PoE out on the second Ethernet port allows direct connection of 802.3af compliant surveillance cameras and thus eliminating excessive cabling
  • Gigabit Ethernet enabled InfiLINK 2x2 PRO units are ideally suited for inherently asymmetrical CCTV back hauls providing full capacity one-way
  • IGMP Snooping and multicast server features are instrumental achieving best utilisation of the whole network infrastructure.

ATEX/HAZLOC/IECEx certified models

  • Hazardous use approval allows the systems to be installed at oil rigs, natural gas distribution stations and other hazardous locations

Rugged design

  • The 2 x 2 Wireless systems are IP66/IP67 compliant against dust and water protection
  • The unit have built-in lightning protection

Frequency Bands

The Inflink 2 x 2  is available in the following frequency bands.

  • 3.1 — 4.0 GHz
  • 4.9 — 6.0 GHz
  • 6.0 — 6.4 GHz

In its simplest form, the Infilink 2 x 2 from Case Communications can be deployed by organisations to provide Ethernet extensions (i.e. LAN-to-LAN) between two locations.  In its most advanced configuration, the 2×2  is able to provide a complete infrastructure that enables organisations of all sizes to connect their remote sites to the headquarters, thus allowing the simultaneous transmission of multi-protocol services such as voice, video and data. This family of solutions can also be deployed by mobile operators requiring multi-megabit capacity for their back hauls
